stonestn
Got this idea about a week ago but I dont have a working knowledge of lodgenet only seen this device in use at hotels but am very technically oriented. What Im wanting to know first is lodgenet purchased by the hotel and the the hotel provides the snes and n64 games for it plus the on demand movies or is it something they install and pay for lodgenet to provide everything. What Im wanting to do is transfer all my dvds (non blu-ray) and all my old vhs tapes to my computer or the purchased lodgenet server and dump all my snes and n64 titles and stream everything to all household tvs to not only save on space but have access to everythng in all rooms. Not scared of hardwork but purchasing all required hardware from ebay or from lodgenet themselves plus probaly some tweaking is this even remotely possible? Lennyboy
I know this is a fairly old thread, hopefully your still lurking around on here. I am very interested in how you went with the above setup. Were you able to set it up to work as it would in the Hotels? I like the idea of this but this type of thing never reached here in Australia.
