Albert
http://members.cox.net/atarimac/Fans of Mac OS X will be glad to learn that Mark Grebe has begun a port of the Atari 800 emulator to OS X, called Atari800MacX. This version is a native Cocoa application, unlike the current port of Atari 800 on the Mac, which is Carbon based. While this version is in its early stages, it does have much of the Atari 800 functionality, including a full-screen emulation mode. Please visit the Atari800MacX home page for more information and to download the latest version.
oesii
Exciting news, thanks to Mark Grebe for working on this. Atari800 has always given me trouble in OSX and it's still missing controller support. Can't wait to try it out at work tommorrow
Maury Markowitz
This is excellent news, making the UI under Cocoa means that you can use basically unmodified Unix source, so it should be much easier to keep up to date. Maybe I can do an OpenStep port of his work, I'll ask. I just got my OpenStep machine running again after all these years. What an OS!
