Hidden games on Flashback 2?

I've heard there are 2 hidden games on the Flashback 2 but how do i find out if mine has them or not and if so, how do i get to them?

Up once, down 9 times, up 7 times, down twice (1972). This will flip to a hidden menu (paddle games) that feature Warlords and Super Breakout. The Flashback 2 does not come with required paddle controllers, which is partially why the menu is hidden.

Regular Atari 2600 paddles work with the Flashback 2, as do the original controllers and visa versa.

The Flashback 2 is a beast, it truely is a great little 2600 spawn.

The german Wikipedia article on the Flashback 2 states it's "Fire once, down 9 times, up 7 times, down twice"...

Does this work too or is this an error? If so, I would edit the Wikipedia article accordingly.

That is incorrect - I should know, I designed the FB2:

 

 

Up 1

Down 9

Up 7

Down 2

 

1972 - the year Atari was incorporated.

 

Go at a nice steady rate, not too fast or slow, usually takes 2-3 tries before you get the speed down properly, then the secret Paddle Games Menu will appear, use the joystick, select which game, once loaded, plug in a pair of original Atari paddle controllers into the console and and press Reset (or select to select a variation, then Reset) to start a game.

the code Curt entered above works on any rev. model FB2. I have working paddles and played the hidden games on my early (different millipede game) and newer rev C.

And that's how I can do it now, on the original hardware and by swapping carts. The fact that this menu-enabled system does not allow one to exit a game and go back to the main menu without cycling the power was a major disappointment for me.

For the record, I've never been able to access this using either real 2600 joysticks or the Flashback 2 model joysticks. To get to the paddle games menu, I plug in a RetroBit Sega Genesis pad to the Flashback 2, execute the code, then plug the paddles in. Like me, my daughter now loves Warlords.
