Simon
Hello, just a quick update: - Introduction screen done (see attached picture). - Possibility to choose one or two joysticks on the introduction screen added. - Maximum amount of loopings added (you have to take care how many loopings in one direction you already made). - Crashing and landing (after finishing the game) added. - Soundeffects and intro music added. - Level parameters set. - Scoring system added. - Some bugs removed. I'll continue testing and improving. Have a nice day! Simon

Simon
Hi, I lately worked on some technical bugs considering - smooth positioning of objects (HMOVE) - scanline jump after collision detection A first testing cartridge (still containing the mentioned bugs) was made and will be presented on saturday at the 4th Retro-Fair in Bochum, Germany. I consider the gameplay with two joysticks placed on a table as good, even without suction cups. I also think that the difficulty is okay and increases nicely. Wish I hadn't missed out on your special package last time going to have to be happy with the unlimited of that one. AX
yuppicide
Always like Simon's games. They're visually very nice including the title screens. I like the two joystick idea and think we should build custom wooden joystick holders to go with a "deluxe" edition of the game.
Simon
Hello, How's this going Simon? Any update? I tested the latest version of the game file as burned EPROM on my VCS, 2600jr and 7800 and didn't find any more bugs. Everything behaves just as planned and wanted. I consider the game development as finished and will start working on label, box and manual design soon. Thanks for your interest and kind words. Have a nice weekend. the.golden.ax
Will this see an NTSC release? I don't mind buying the PAL version to keep in the dresser of goodness, but then I'd like a final NTSC rom to use on my cuddle cart. Thanks, AX

+LS650
Sounds great. I agree with the negative comments re Flash 'games'; 95% of Flash games are garbage.

Simon
>> Any word on the NTSC rom for this game? Sorry for the late answer (I haven't been around here for quite some time). I didn't create an NTSC version of this game so far... and I'm not quite sure if I'll ever have the time and motivation to do so. Please play this game on a PAL-machine/TV or in your favorite emulator instead. Game on! Simon
Mayhem
Heya Simon... any chance we'll ever see the fabled seventh game in the series to round things out?

Please play this game on a PAL-machine/TV or in your favorite emulator instead. Game on! Simon That's a bit disappointing. I know the conversion is not simple, but playing PAL games on a real system is not a simple matter in the US (most TVs don't support 50 Hz and a PAL 2600 is needed to play the game properly) and playing on an emulator is just not the same as playing on real hardware. Simon
Heya Simon... any chance we'll ever see the fabled seventh game in the series to round things out? Hi Mat, well, there are plans and first developments for two different games, but right now there is a lack of sparetime... I hope to find the time (and motivation) for taking up such a development project soon again. BTW: at the moment I'm still focussing on the rescue of lost C64 games...
