Monitor with RCA in...

Hey hey!

I'm looking for a computer monitor with RCA "in" jacks to use my 130XE and Jag with.

The Tandy CM-11 RGB monitor had RCA video in jacks, but unfortunately, I sold that along with my Tandy 1000 about 12 years ago when I got a 1000TL/2 with a VGA card... Anyhow, any other monitors you folks know of with RCA in jacks?

Cheers!

I'm using an old Apple IIe/c color composite monitor with my XE right now, it's good. I picked it up off E-bay for $25. due a search on E-bay under "vintage computers" instead of the regular "Atari" or "commodore" searches, that's how I came across mine...

I used my Commadore Moniter to play with my Neo Geo....

I heard these moniters can be used as RGB moniters so I hooked up my Jamma Harness to the Original Commadore Moniter Cable and ....tada!

The picture looks much better than my 25" RGB Moniter in my Neo Geo believe it or not, probably because of its smaller screen size ;)

I want to make a Caberet cabinet and use this Moniter for the Cabinet...

And yes it does have RCA Jacks for both Video and Stereo.

Take a look:

The only color monitors I've ever used with 8-bits are the Commodore 1702s. I used to use them with a cable that split the chroma and luminance, giving you in effect an s-video cable. You then get spectacular output! They also have normal composite inputs (video, audio) on the front. We had eight of these puppies setup at last year's CGE:

Sears used to have color monitors with RCA inputs as well. I still have the one I purchased when I purchased my Atari XEGS. I left it at my parents house unfortunately since I moved so I can't look at the model number really. It doesn't matter now, it seems that the tube is leaking or the gun is weakening or some such since the image will sometimes expand then contract suddenly once in a great while.

I know that there's a box floating about somewhere that will allow you to convert the feed from RCA to the VGA(?) inputs on most modern monitors. They seem to be more-or-less popular with the newer consoles like Dreamcast, XBox, and what not. I looked at it a few times (I'll try to find a link, I think spotted one at Amazon) but the cost of it and considering I already have multiple monitors and T.V.s that I'm quite happy with, I couldn't justify buying it myself.
