darthkur
Even Pac Land needs a super hero now and then. When the ghost-monsters get too far out of hand and everything is looking grim, never fear, for here is Super Pac-Man. Our hero has super abilities like super speed and super size that allows him to rush past his adversaries unharmed and bust though locked doors. But don't let that lull you into a false sense of security, Super-Pac. Mega Energizers don't last forever and those goodies, that are so irresistible, are all behind locked doors. All is not lost since the keys are scattered about that will open those portals. Don't forget to grab the Star prize in the middle and if you match the prizes on either side of it you'll get a super bonus. Emulators are fine as is whatever controller you feel the most comfortable with. Screenshots are great but not mandatory. Settings: One Player. Level 1. (Apples) (Default) Contest ends on: 7-6-09 at 1:00am EST. RangerG
What controller do you all use for 5200 maze games?
+Cafeman
I gotta try this on actual hardware with a Genesis pad -- I have a very hard time controlling Pac-Man with the keyboard! 47,960.
RangerG
With the keyboard, ha. That's an impressive score with the keyboard.
+Cafeman
I've never played this much until now. Technially, a couple of things really impress me: 1. no flicker and detailed images. Did Landon Dyer use character graphics for the ghosts?? 2. How was the sound done, to get that carnival-like quality of reverb/delay on the music? darthkur
What controller do you all use for 5200 maze games? Same one I use for everything else, a stock controller. Granted it's not the best suited for maze games like this one but it's all I have and using a D-Pad controller would even be worse by far.
roadrunner
84,890 I think i'm doing pretty good using a Logitech d-pad controller.
darthkur
84,890 I think i'm doing pretty good using a Logitech d-pad controller. I think I'd have to agree. I just can't play most older games, especially maze games, with a D-pad controller. Obviously others are quite good at doing so.
+Cafeman
I tried it on the real system, using stock controllers, and I did have a noticeably easier time controlling Pac as compared to emulation w/keyboard. I forget my score, will play again though.
Chris-in-NJ
Wow! I typically play this with my Redemption adapter and a stock 7800 Pain-line and usually beat 100,000 when I concentrate. If I could figure out why I'm not able to post photos here I could get some pics...

To add some though, one needs only to add the file as an attachment when posting using the "add response" which offers all of the additional features, not the "fast response" which does not. Jpeg, gif and png files will post an immediate picture directly in the thread. Other formats, like bmp, will only supply a link to download the image. I hope that helps. NoahsMyBro
23,920 By the way - I just tried to play the game on the 5200 using my multicart, but the game crashes at boot. Is there any solution to that? Maybe run it on a two-port insted of a 4-port?

Try this one: Sadly, my multicart predates USB, and isn't upgradeable.
