Lord Thag Posted June 13, 2010 Share Posted June 13, 2010 John's house is a great place to crash on vacation, as you may well imagine. I've spent many a weekend on vacation up there playing through obscure titles. I remember visiting during what ended up being the biggest freak snowstorm in a century. We kept trying to go out in the garage and play, but it was so damned cold that we couldn't last more than twenty minutes at a stretch. John and I usually do this 'pick a game and beat it' thing when either of us visits. Last game was 'Kickmaster' on the NES, which I highly recommend. It's a fun way to actually give yourself some real play time with a collection that large. It really must be seen in person to believe. Seriously though, considering what John has gone through to put this together, how long it's taken him, how he's come into owning most of these pieces, and the fact that he's the most humble Gamer/Collector I've met - is what makes his Collection stand shoulders above the rest imho.
