Hi!

I would like to buy Official Gamer's Guide for Jag. Does it worth buying? And how many guides were released? Just this one?

Thanks for your help!

F.

There's no scans of the book anywhere Ite, it's published, copyrighted material. I saw one one ebay the other day for about $8, it's a cool book and worth it. One of the authors is a member here, Zack Meston(zmweasel) although I've heard he hates Jaguar now.

That's right!, the "Top Secret Tips" section was reprinted with permission by the books authors; Zach Meston's & J. Douglass Arnold's -close personal friend: ZylonBane! :)

I bought some Dreamcast games here from Zach.

Nice section of the book man, I've used that part quite a bit in the past.

I also understand you are the Editor and Publisher of: Jaguar Explorer Online - which I personally like a lot, it's a very cool online Jaguar magazine that I would recommend for all Jaguar fans:

Got any scans?

I was going to make a new thread to ask this, but wondered if a scan has been made available for purchase since this thread was made? I'm not able to handle physical books well, and only can read from my computer. I ask mainly because Amazon has a "Look Inside!" partial scan of Gamer's Guide on their paperback listing, consisting of 10 pages.

I bought a new copy for about $15 a couple of years back.  I think if you can get it for a reasonable price it's well worth buying.  For example, it has floor plans for the various levels in AvP.
There are lengthy write-ups on about 15 or 20 of the earlier games, and there are some codes and good info.  There's not much in it that you can't find online with some Googling, but it's nice to have it all in a book on the shelf.

I bought mine for approximately USD$15.00, back in the day. It is a good guide to playing some of the Jaguar games. I still have it, too. But, I keep it in storage for safe keeping. But, as everyone is saying, if you can buy it then it is worth it.
