INTV question about controllers

I found an INTV, but the directional disk are missing on both controllers. It's a model 1 and is there anyway to fix this?

Sadly, no. The only way I could think of is to get two working controllers and re-wire them into the system, in which case, if you had two working controllers, and the system itself works, you'd have a fully functioning system and the problem would be solved. You're gonna need a new system. Fortunately, INTVs aren't all that expensive. I picked up one with 12 games and the Intellivoice all boxed for 25 bucks.

I think they plug in IIRC, you just have to take it apart to get to the plugs. Also, I seem to recall someone in the marketplace had a nonworking unit for sale. If you could find it you could probably get the controllers or the whole thing cheap. You might want to post in the wanted section if you decide to try to fix it.
