Hello again.

SOLD OUT
Manufacturing is an paus, probably until after summer 2013.

Autoswitching Multi-Cart with more than all original software.

The complete Pac-Man is now included!
Price $141, shipping worldwide for free.
(last update July 18th 2013)
Fits all Fairchild System machines no matter what the tv system is.

Answer here or send a personal message or e-mail to address below.

Previously I have offered the Pac-Man cartridge as you can see here:
http://www.atariage....__fromsearch__1

Have received the second test print for the box, very happy with it, need to sell the last cart to pay for the printing costs, for now I will still ship cart only. I haven't decided yet about an instruction book, possibly I'll have a small booklet made with the "on-the label" instructions, a larger one with ALL instructions would have been fun though. Perhaps complete scans could be included on CD-R/DVD-R...

Box and instructions will be shipped for free to all buyers as soon as they're done.

The Multi-Cart contains all known games and variations (also both Democarts, protos and known homebrews) for the Fairchild System, even Pac-Man with the intermission music and intermission animations!
Games can be chosen via a menu that you reach by resetting the system while holding button 1.
Holding other buttons or combination thereof will immediately start one of the more popular games according to previous requests, just check the instructions on the back label.

Payment Instructions:
Any questions are welcome, and also your money at PayPal.com, my address there is e5frog@gmail.com I'll also answer e-mail to that address. Please use the personal payment option and be sure you pay the fee, thanks! (This way the full amount will reach my account as the fees aren't very easy to calculate - something I know from previous experience)

Like so:
Posted Image

Please write your shipping address as a message in your PayPal payment as it is not automatically included with this type of payment, if you forget to include it send an e-mail to the same address or send a PM here.
All shipping is done via plain mail, not registered, at the buyers risk. I'm happy to ship registered at the buyers expense.

Insured shipping is an additional $15.

Customizations are offered, $10-20 extra per item, such things as:
custom fast start options including custom back label
Up to 15 characters displayed on startup
Picture of your choice displayed on startup
changes in colors of menu
order of items in menu
custom word list in Hangman
UPGRADE to newer software (buyer also pays shipping back and forth)

Thanks for looking!

I have increased the number of carts to five as things were a little more expensive than I had expected. It looks like the next larger batch will cost more than the $100 per cartridge than these first five - maybe as much as $20 more, so if you want one and can afford it right now - get one of the two that's left...

First five are sold, I'll continue to take pre-orders for the same price, but the waiting time is a little longer. The price will most likely go up when I have gotten price information on all needed parts. If you pay now you'll get it at the cheaper price.

I'm done with the menu for now, I also added the prototype "Draw Poker" to the menu as it differs in the sound effects from Videocart 25, uploaded a new YouTube movie of the menu:

If you check my other videos you can also fid recordings of Draw Poker and Casino Poker.

That's excellent. I never knew that even existed. There's more great stuff on there than I ever though possible that I'd get to play on my Channel F.

http://fndcollectabl...prototypes.html

Then there is also some slight graphics differences as well (numbers in different position)

Yes FND, that's them, I see you have gotten hold of two other prototypes as well, I hope we can get them dumped...

I added the five prototypes that were actually playable:
DRAW POKER (Casino Poker)
COLOR ORGAN
FOOTBALL
GLACTIC SPACE WAR
SPITFIRE

Some are very different in the binary-file but seems to play the same.

There's probably missing code in Color Organ, but even if you just use the first 512 byte it plays the same, the "Robot Wars" code are very different but I think about half the code of that one is missing... That's why it resets after the players are written to screen. I hope we can get new dumps of them eventually.

It seems I haven't mentioned that the alternative Slot Machine was dumped OK and added to the Multi-Cart earlier this week.

You can check my YouTube-page for new recordings:

So if I get one now and you decide to make a box later will you send me a box? Or should I wait a while to see if you decide to make a box?

Now that's a good question, that would require some extensive testing. I know that Sean Riddle edited the M.E.S.S. code to mask out any unused code of a cartridge and then looked closer at that. I don't have near his knowledge to do something like that, I'd have to disassemble it and then go trough the code from the beginning...

Yes, if you buy a cartridge you have also bought any future box and instruction booklet. I'm thinking I might gather the on-cart instructions in a pamphlet or something like that.

EDIT:

The Sonar Search I found was not a new version, there was eight bytes missing a little more than half way through the first half of the dump.

It wasn't even playable - which I should have checked of course.

It seems I need to look over the dumper code, it was a very strange place to miss data. I had the same dump with four different carts so I thought it was OK...

I'll remove it again from the Multi-Cart code... *sigh*

I found an earlier version of Sonar Search today when I dumped some carts, there are (so far) a version before week 45 1978 and one from week45 1978. The later version is previously known and dumped. Here's the zipped binary.

I updated the Multi-Cart and added both versions of Sonar Search, also changed the numbering to only be present on actual released cart versions, so there's 36 different dumped carts and a bunch of other software as well. Pac-Man is not listed as a cart since it's not the full cart version (no intermission animations nor intermission music).

Here's the new full list:
