cimerians
Anyone have them or played them? If I remember they were VERY well done ports from the respective computer game. I think Miner 2049er was also done very well along with Choplifter. (Broderbund and First Star). Sadly I dont think Lode Runner was ever done on the CV. As far as I can tell only the following were released: Jumpman Jr. Gateway to Apshai Pitstop Pitstop II (I may be wrong) Anyone have anything I missed? I own Jumpman Jr. and Gateway to Apshai. (I may Ebay a pitstop but Ebay has been crappy pricewise for me a while now) Edited September 11, 2009 by cimerians
Pixelboy
Anyone have them or played them? If I remember they were VERY well done ports from the respective computer game. Gateway to Apshai was (and still is) one of my favorite CV games. It's fun to walk around and explore, less fun when a super tough (and super fast) enemy pops up. But you always want to go just a little further. I think Miner 2049er was also done very well along with Choplifter. (Broderbund and First Star). Sadly I dont think Lode Runner was ever done on the CV. Lode Runner was released as a homebrew title on the CV back in 2002. It will be re-released by CollectorVision later this year, if all goes well. As far as I can tell only the following were released:Jumpman Jr. Gateway to Apshai Pitstop Pitstop II (I may be wrong) Pitstop II was never released on the CV. cimerians
Thanks for the info. I'll have to look for Lode Runner. The fast monsters on Gateway were a pain....I remember a vampire and a dragon being really tough at those low levels. Wonder if it ever ended at some point... I thought Jumpan Jr. at first glance looked bad way back when I first saw the back of the box at my local Toys r' Us. Blowing my hard earned after school job cash on it was a good deal. It turned out to be one of my favorite platformers. Edited September 11, 2009 by cimerians
