Tempest Posted October 20, 2009 Share Posted October 20, 2009 I was re-reading one of my old MAD magazines and I spotted what appears to be an ADAM computer in one of the articles (MAD Nasty File): I have no idea what issue this came out of since this was a "Best Of" issue, but it must have been around 84-85. The artist didn't get the system 100% right, but there's no mistaking that's what he was going for. I wonder why they chose the ADAM of all things? I think point 2 is dead on (for the ADAM anyway). They ended up reducing the price to $200 and discontinued them fairly shortly into their life span. I still love my Adam though, its a great conversation piece.
