Here's my mostly complete list of systems/platforms that I presently own: http://www.billandchristina.com/vgamecomp/systems.htm

Holy cow that's a lot of systems! Are they consigned to the depths of storage bins or do you cycle through them? I'm just imagining someone in this huge room full of computers frantically typing on 3 at once... :D

I have a large basement with a separated storage area. Most stuff, outside of the modern items which are in the primary rooms in the house, are on shelves on large metal or plastic units. When I need access to a system, I just go to its area, pull down what I need, then hook it up in one of the other rooms in the basement.

I have no classic computer hardware at the moment (other than an Atari 2600).

I have owned:

Color Computer I (original model, bought new in 1983)

Portable IBM PC w/ built-in 5"? monitior (well loved, gift from a friend, 1994-ish)

About four other PCs (1988-present), including a Tandy 1000 SL.

Around 1985 or 1986, I considered getting an Atari ST at a local shop, but I was put off by the cost of the floppy disk drive (sold seperately, even though the computer was unusable without it). The package was close to $1000.
