slyde
Astrowarriors by Apogee exists in a four-player simultaneous version (patched by Fandal). Sadly, no 400/800 4-player version seems to exist or I am too stupid to find out how to change the number of players. EDIT: I was - just pressing "p" changes the number from 2 to 3 or 4! BTW: this is a highly recommended multi-player game! Thorsten wow, thanks for this! Astro Warriors was always one of my favorite games as a teen.. we would have 4 player team battles for hours. I recently found a copy of it, and for the life of me couldnt remember how to make it 4 players p.s. Is there any problem with the Fandal version when you put a black hole on the screen? With the version i had gotten (which i dont know if it was fandal or not), playing with the black hole would make the ships fly off the screen instantly, instead of its intended use of slowly sucking you in. russg
Here's Floyd of the Jungle. It requires BASIC. floyd.zip Thanks a8 but it is the improved 1983 version (machine code) that I'm after I couldn't get that floyd.zip to run, on atari800winplus 4 or a real Atari. Here's Floyd of the Jungle by Sid Meir. I don't think Meir published BASIC games. This will not boot in AT800WP4, needs a real Atari. Edit: Yes that floyd.zip is for OS B, BASIC, by Sid Meir. I couldn't get it to run in OS B on AT800WP4. Hmm.. Right, AT800WP4 runs it in OS B, BASIC on boot. I don't think you can get the BASIC listing. So, I guess you're not looking for the Sid Maier one? There's 1982 and 1983 versions on Atarimania. floyd.zip runs in OSB, with BASIC enabled. Atarimania has a 1982 floyd, but it's an .atx, whatever that is. russg
I see what the problem is now. Atarimania has Floydotj 3, but it is atx, copy protected. I don't know how you can have a copy protected copy of something. The FOTJ I put up is 2, sorry. I looked for a 3 but no luck. APE PRO images preserve the copy protection, but it is a proprietary format, you make your own copy of your copy protected disk which I suppose you could share.
