(...) So I am not sure if my purchase does anything for charity. If it does its fine, (...).

even though only Freewheel may confirm it, I'm pretty sure it will: http://atariage.com/...read/?p=3654240

Maybe I missed something, my copy is from Ebay (and there are still 6 left). So I am not sure if my purchase does anything for charity. If it does its fine, but I really dont have a idea what you are talking about. I not followed the Intellivision community the last couple of month.

That appears to be freewheel's ebay account so yes the charity will benefit.

Hm, pretty cool of him and shame oh me for not knowing. I found no hint in the listing as well. Such understatement of him. I mean I just bought a cheap Game, the donation is completely his part. Well, that let Desert Bus shine in a much better light :D

I offered 50 ^^ Just needed the box and it would be hard to sell the rest loose in Europe, small scene and small demand.

That price is practically a steal! Boxed Euro ECS (CIB?) + Euro Music Keyboard + Intl Demo cart. Good job!

Don't overestimate it. Without the demo ists worth around 150€ to 200 in my opinion, assumed the hardware is working. The demo looks ugly and is unboxed, don't know how much its worth in that condition.

150 is good, but a steal is something different for me. Some games are pretty expensive here, but in general many prices are below US market. For example the german Demo-Cart I bought, it was mentioned in the title and shown in the picture and yet the auction just ended at 250€ including a console and games with 160€ value. Our ocean is comfortable to swim in, because we have much less sharks :D

Since everything is completely untested 150 seems fine for me, because Mike has the risk. Its probably working, but if not he overpaid.

Today I got a huge parcel. Filled with lots of plastic to protect the contents. After some layers it showed up.

Even the stuff itself were wrapped in foil.

So, What did I get. An European ECS (missing the inside boxes and instruction booklet), a European Music Synthesizer, unboxed, with an extra sheet how to set the volume right, a boxed International Demo cart, German version, an boxed Philips Videopac (Odyssey2) cart Newscaster (seems to be quite rare) and an external microphone, probably for a 70s/80s cassette recorder.

I hooked it all up for testing. Demo cart: works, ECS: works, Synthesizer: had some issues with a few keys. Maybe it can be solved.

After all, not bad for 160 Euros (including shipping). Especially that the Demo Cart is boxed, which was not to see on the auctions photos. Sadly, the inlays of the ECS box are not there, but that would have been another positive surprise.

Awesome! For twice the price the boxed German Demo cart alone would have been worth it, the rest are just freebies you happened to get thrown in with your very nicely priced Demo cart :)

btw. The serial number of the ECS is P3 00115. The lowest number I could find on Revs site.

Your purchase does indeed do something for charity :D And it's shipping this week, I promise! Work had me out of town for a while and of course several people ordered a copy of the game.. Hopefully people are cool with a bit of delay. Thanks to anyone reading for being patient this month.

For anyone else: yes, the copies you see on Ebay have the charity part built in. I just tossed some up on Ebay to get wider exposure. Ebay of course takes their fees, but it's helped move a number of copies, which is always good. Pretty soon it'll be sold out and the only copies on Ebay will be $100+. Hopefully those resellers will donate their profits as well.

Also, Tarzilla, uncool stalking Ebay accounts. I'm gonna have to call the moose police on you.
