It's strange how some common 2600 games are rare on Intv

i guess they didnt sell too many copies of these games and thats why they are rarer/more expensive.

2600 commons that are in the 30 to 60 or more range on intv:

defender

dig dug

pac man

centipede

congo bongo

tutenkham

super cobra

river raid

I picked up Pac-Man loose for $1.99 not long ago, and Defender (with manual) was one of the 40-odd games in the Inty II lot I bought last summer for $51...so I guess I lucked out?

Still, $80 seems high for those three Atarisoft games boxed, but maybe it's just more than I'm willing to pay. I don't have Centipede, but the other two are pretty good. Defender looks great but is quite unforgiving.

As for the others, they're hard to get indeed! I'm surprised by how seldom I see River Raid, which I have yet to pick up.

Wow, I had no idea those went for that much. I'll have to lookup some gameplay videos to see if those are worth the price of admission.

Conversely, I wonder why the common INTV Star Strike is rare and hard to find on the 2600. Always wanted a copy of that one.

You're not missing much, I've got a couple. It's probably my least fav M-network title next to the sports games.

Conversely, the Atarisoft Centipede is the best version I've ever played.
