Should this still be pinned now that we have the SD card/cart?

I can not believe to read this!

How about to ask me first if my FlashCard is still available?

The demand is low, but still people are interested to get a development tool without any possible side effect!

And not every developer like to have 100 builds of the game on a SD-Card...

And still people develop games using my FlashCard design!

And maybe still someone is interested to get the latest Firmware update.

And BTW, the project is not dead, i am still improve and think about new features which may help to make great games!

The LynxSD and the Flashcard serve two completely different purposes. LynxSD is for playing ROMs that have been made available and will work for most games. The Flashcard is for developers because it loads faster and has the ability to save data too, so if you're developing a game with a save features, you can't test it on the LynxSD.

Having said that, karri's rewritable carts can replace the Flashcard, but do require additional programmer board hardware to write ROMs to them. These carts are probably better suited for the 'mass production' of completed games rather than development of them.

Without your card my Lynx demos like Elements would not have been possible!

Even I am not a fan of flashing through terminal program but it works :) after months I need to look how to flash again as getting old :D

No problem here with Windows 10 (32 & 64 bits).

If you are connected to Internet, drivers are downloaded the first time you plus a Flashcard (just like on Windows 7), and you need to install and configure HTerm.

Configuration is quite easy : just click Refresh to select the correct port if you have more than 1 Flashcard, and select approriate baudrate (if you don't remember which one is set on Flashcard, you will have to connect/pressAnykey/unconnect until the menu is displayed in a human readable form in the output window)
