ST Painting

Recommended Posts

That definately is cool looking, being an artist myself, it makes me want to do something similiar to mine...mine already looks pretty cool since I painted it, although I painted mine because the case had gotten extremely yellowed and ugly. Mine looks similiar now, if you can imagine the whole computer just being painted like the blue-grey color of that one, then you know what it looks like. I painted the bottom part of the case too though, as well as the monitor. I say go for it! Paint your ST! I changed out the green LED power light on mine for a red one that matches the monitor's red one, and then I put the green LED into my 130XE to match the green LED on it's monitor...next step is to change out the red power LED's on my 1050's to match! I did install a blue LED on my Dreamcast, because I got the European/English style case with the blue swirl and same on my controller. Next, I bought blue VMU's and blue MadCatz controllers to match...I just might paint the whole thing a metalic blue though too, or, get a clear blue case! I love hacking cases of my equipment to look cool! I changed out my red LED on my Jaguar to yellow to match the yellow eyes and I also painted the Jagcd's door button red like the prototypes. I also painted the fuji on the front in between the joystick ports red and it looks really cool! I painted the Atari name and fuji's on my Jaguar procontrollers to match the prototypes too (white)! I always felt that all those raised symbols should be colored instead of leaving them the case color, and obviously the original designers did too, since the prototypes were done this way. Cosmetics are a must for me! :D 8)
