+Yurkie
A guy at a local classic game shop was telling me that the RF won't work on a TV that only has a digital tuner. I was thinking about it and it makes sense, but since I only have CRTs with analog tuners I am curious now. If you have a ColecoVision and a new LCD or plasma TV with a digital only tuner, could you post weather or not the RF works on your TV set?. Feedback very much appreciated. Prodos8
Analog RF won't work with a digital tuner. I don't have personal experience but just know it won't work.

I'll tell you what does work on a LCD!! The A/V modded Colecovisions that I've bought from you!!
+Yurkie
There is no reason it would, just curious if anyone has tried. Sure going to be nice for people to dump junk ColecoVisions on Ebay. Now they can include the power supply and rf cord, and say "I can't test it because it's analog and I only have digital TV's
ten-four
No problem if you still have an analog tuner in your digitaltv. This will work as before -just in "well" quality.
Mark_Coleco
I used an RF to Coax adapter for my CV and it worked, but that maybe an analog tv I suppose.
Bartsfam
So, help me, because I am slow. I still live in the old world of analog, (Sony 32" from 1989!!) As soon as I upgrade to an LCD or plasma, I can't use my Colecovision on it? I'll have to keep an old TV around, or convert the CV to the A/V mod?? I don't have an LCD either.
+5-11under
You'll need a TV with an NTSC tuner... or connect via a VCR. 5-11undr
dooglehead
Don't most Digital TVs also have an analog tuner? If they don't you can always use a vcr or do Ben Heck's av mod (which I did to my cv)
akator
All of our LCD and CRT digital HDTVs still have analog tuners built-in. Our CV and other old systems all work fine when connected via RF. In a few years new HDTVs might not have analog tuners anymore, but for now it doesn't seem to be much of a problem.
