Classic Pac
Okay I know this sounds strange especially I don't think that the game was actually every released...at least I don't think so. The game I am talking about was actually featured in the old Air Force exhibit at the Museum of Science and Industry here in Chicago, maybe about 20 years ago. It was a text only Moon landing game, basically you had a set amount of fuel and you had to input a set amount of thrust in order to land on the surface of the Moon. Then it came back with a new altitude and speed of descent seconds later. As you can imagine, this game drove me just about crazy, you see after a lot of playing time I learned the hard way you had to land at zero MPH. I just want to know if any one seen a game like this before on anything.
carmel_andrews
Could be retrofire or lunar lander or similar
Cebus Capucinis
You're thinking of the very first version of Lunar Lander! The game started as a text-based game and then was adapted to feature vector graphics later. Lunar Lander Wiki There were also versions called LEM, Rocket, Lunar, and Apollo. At least I think that's what you're looking for, it fits the criteria. The user input thrust and whatnot to land the module.
