+Yurkie
Very, very nice! You're really getting good at this, Daniel. Awesome. I was blown away. I went to your youtube link and downloaded the .zip for source and rom. Rom size is only 3.5K and nothing happened with the emulator except text on the screen. Is it possible to load this music on the multi-cart and have in play on an actual ColecoVision?
newcoleco
Note : About playing the music from the actual ROM file, you need to select the music to play it. In other words, press (numkey) 1 when you see the screen menu. Edited May 17, 2010 by newcoleco
newcoleco
The server to my blog seems down at the moment... or my access to it is restricted... I don't know. Anyway, This is the archive files for the source code and binary rom file. SOURCE + ROM : whatislove_bin_src.zip

+Yurkie
That was pretty cool Daniel, What about making the first ColecoVision cartridge Album? Could put early 80's hits on it. Pac-Man fever... Just a suggestion.
newcoleco
A music album in a ROM, well sound similar to my Youtube cartridge I've done, but except your suggestion is only about music. Another idea could be, because it's a "dance-type" music and I know that there is an adaptor to use PS dance mat with a Commodore 64, a ColecoVision dance videogame... but at the same time there is no way to get enough requests for this game to exist because it needs extra material (adaptor plus a mat)... but could be done, I think. The music album cart seems a cool idea to me, perhaps you could just add a static screen of album art while song played. Seems it would be easy enough to hook up the dance mat to a colecovision controller. Plus if you made the directional controllers on the joystick correspond to the step directions, it could be played without the mat.
