+davidcalgary29
Is anyone interested in reviving one of the old Atari User Groups that used to exist in the area? I, for one, would like to set up a Lynx/8-bit/Jaguar library, but would welcome the addition of ST (and other classic computer) software titles. tyranthraxus
Have you tried posting in the 2600 group? Or digital press? Those boards are more popular than the 8 bit one. Or perhaps your Calgary thrift shop competition doesn't want to meet you
+davidcalgary29
Thanks for the hint, although, if I push things, I fear I might come across as a deranged stalker. Perhaps I should just advertise in the local "buy & Sell" newspaper...hmm...
tyranthraxus
I think it would be hard to create a specific Atari computer user group. But a general Atari/video game collector group is probably doable in any large city. You know you can't be the only one who collects. The buy and sell is a good idea although you are more likely to get calls from people looking to sell you their old stuff than start a club.
