DDCecil
I decided to hook up my Colecovision today after a long hiatus, and it powers on fine, and I can hear the game's audio just great. The only problem is that there is no video. Just curious what I would need to do to fix it. Insides (yeah, I know. Dusty!): http://img810.imageshack.us/img810/2285/picturem.jpg
GroovyBee
When you say "no video" do you mean the console shows either static noise, corrupted graphics or black?
DDCecil
When you say "no video" do you mean the console shows either static noise, corrupted graphics or black? It's pure black (Unless I start wiggling the R/F cord, then it starts to get fuzzy).
newcoleco
There is a possibility that the power supply might don't give the correct voltages and then the circuit inside can't run properly. I do own a ColecoVision game system which is showing a problem with the power cord(wire) which. If I place the cord in a certain way the output voltage isn't fine and I'm getting missing colors and various video artefacts, but if I place it another way the voltage seems fine enough to power up properly. I'm not saying that it's the source of your problem but it's a possibility to check if first of all the ouput from the power supply block gives the proper voltages.
