This is sweet, I wish I can get one but I have a feeling it will be pricey.
+orpheuswaking
Nope, But I'm thinking of doing it with an Atari 8 bit

This same company appeared a while back claiming to of acquired the Commodore name and all rights, which was a flat out lie. Really nothing to this except the Commodore brand name put on generic all-in-one PC's with a badge stuck on them. These type of all in one PC's have been offered for sometime actually for even better prices then being offered here. As has already been suggested by myself and others it might actually be something IF they actually supplied say the AMIGA / C64 Emulation packages included then it might be something. This new PC sure looks nice in the replica PC case but really, I don't want to over pay for a modern PC and use it with that keyboard lol. Thats exactly what I told a friend of mine when I saw that. If it came with some classic C64 emulation behind it that would make it more worthwhile. nathanallan
This is something I am looking forward to seeing what happens. Not that I am all that juiced to see a cramped up zero-footprint computer hit the market, there are plenty of those, but a "frontend" that looks like the classic would be nice, as well as an emulator package. A couple of others are working on the 800XL as well, Curt mentioned he is trying to come up with something, too.

+remowilliams
Forget modern PC parts in a 64 case, I want them to make modern low rate capable, multi input CRTs in a Commodore case.
carmel_andrews
Don't see it happening, or being succesful You can put together a winblowz pc (incl. o/s) for less the 200 quid...if you know where to look I don't see this commodore being able to sell their sys. for that amount (i.e sub 200), i'd say about 350 to 400 (which even then is a bit pricey) I only hope our friend CV doesn't go down this route, otherwise he's gonna get a bloody nose (business wise) and very quickly Edited August 31, 2010 by carmel_andrews
