I've been collecting about 2 and half years, though I consider myself a hobbyist more than a collector. I'm not a serious collector by any means. I collect what interests me and I intermittently play every system I own. I'm not really interested in owning a bunch of systems that I'd never play, nor do I have the room.
I used to be a PC gamer primarily. I have a decent PC game collection going back to the early 90's. But with PC gaming pretty much being garbage these days, my main focus is now consoles.
So here's my game/living room. I'm running out of storage space and really need to get more shelving, or bigger shelving. I have 12 systems hooked up on two TVs at the moment. One is my LCD, which is running an 8 switch Pelican Gameswitch (thank you Goodwill!) and a bunch of systems on Svideo. The second is a 27" CRT from Goodwill running all the older stuff.
Atari comes first, then the others.
ATF TV Fun
Atari 2600 - My collection, roughly grouped by brand. The Vader has my Joystick Select/Reset mod on it. I also have a Harmony cart I forgot to include in the photos. Gosh I love that thing.
Atari 5200
Atari 7800 - Longhorn Svideo modded
Intellivision - No good games except AD&D. Centipede is just not playable in my opinion.
NES - The Wisdom Tree games are almost CIB. And I found them at Goodwill.
SNES
Gameboy/Advance
N64 - My first console. I barely play it now days. But when I have parties, it's on non-stop.
Gamecube - Yay for the gameboy player!
Sega Genesis - The genesis is modded for Composite and Stereo output. I really need to replace the mainboard though. It was the victum of a botched Svideo mod and the RF doesn't work well on it.
Game Gear - Yes, I did the caps replacement on it.
Dreamcast
Playstation - I have a PSone because it take up less space.
PS2 - (PS2 fat not shown. Also have a network adapter I use with Hdloader and a hard drive.)
PS3 - Rock Band 2 bought at Goodwill for $35. No joke.
