Austin
Ah.. Maybe thanks to this round, I will finally manage to finish this game for the first time.
+orpheuswaking
Ugh... I can play this game for HOURS, not sure I have the time to put into it!
Dan Iacovelli
I'll give it a shot as well
Austin
How many stages are in this game, btw? I think I've only cleared the first round of planets. After I originally did this for the first time, realizing there was more to the game, I was like, "screw this, who knows how long this could go on for!!" boog
Cybermorph gives me motion sickness after 10-15 minutes. I'll give it a shot and post a score, but as soon as I start getting dizzy I repeatedly slam into the nearest mountain while Skylar ridicules me. Also, hopefully everyone knows that there are two versions of Cybermorph. Later carts were reduced from 2Mb to 1Mb to cut manufacturing costs. Lots of Skylar's samples were removed to cut memory. If your title screen morphs from spaceships to the logo, it's the 2Mb version. If your title screen is just the logo, it's the 1Mb version. You can also tell from the part number in the bottom corner of the label. I don't think the gameplay is any different, but the voice is less repetitive with the 2Mb cart.
+orpheuswaking
Gameplay is identical, but it is preferable to play the larger cart as you are right, skylar doesn't bug you out as quickly!
Austin
Skylar shouldn't bug you out at all if you're not crashing into walls...

Major Havoc 2049
I made it to the begining of the 5th sector. I never tried it, but I think I can go from start to finish in one sitting (a few breaks here and there of course). The above score took me like four hours. I thought I better post it just in case I can't find the time to take another shot. It would be kinda cool to finish the game from start to finish in one sitting though. kevincal
I'm baaaaaaack. I've been buying Jag stuff like a mad man lately. Now have a ton of games again. Breezed through the first 2 levels of Cybermorph and got bored / had to watch a show so I quit with a score of: 246400 I've only beaten this entire game once and it was thanks to this high score club a year or so ago when we played it then. Cool game for sure.
Major Havoc 2049
Welcome back, Kevin! Glad to see you getting back into the Jag again. I finished this sucker off from start to finish. This is only the second time I finished the game. The first time being back in December of '93. I beat my old score. Woot! 1,097,900 BTW, cats are awesome!
kevincal
Thanks Major, over 1 million now that is quite the achievement. Congrats. And ya cats are awesome, except when they wake you up early in the morning begging for food!

Austin
Just spent a couple of hours playing this and I managed to get to the end of the third set of planets (Died at the "boss" stage after you clear all of the planets on the round). Score: 520,300.
