DAY 5 PRIZE:

A year’s subscription to the “2600 Connection” newsletter (a fine publication for the 2600-inclined) and a custom-made Atari wall clock!

Today’s contest is called “Timing is Everything.” You don’t need to look up anything, break codes, and no knowledge of obscure cart art is needed. All you gotta do is be at the right place (here) at the right time (later). Here’s how it works:

Some of you may remember a similar contest I held. (See link below.) The rules are simple. After I post this message, I'll ignore this specific thread until later today - 10 minutes from now, a few hours from now, shortly before midnight, who knows? Anyway, when I revisit THIS THREAD (not AtariAge, but this thread SPECIFICALLY), whoever posted the last message is the winner.

This isn't an excuse for someone to go spastic and post a message every minute, hoping to score. So, to keep it fair, you're only allowed to post *3* times. If I come back and the last poster has posted to this thread 4 or more times, he or she is OUT, and I'll go to the next person. So, time your posts carefully. If you post three times in the next hour and I don’t return until later, you’re screwed. However, if I come back 10 minutes from now, whoever jumped the gun is the winner. It’s really all a chess game – how will you use your posts and when do you think I’ll return? (And, yes, I have a specific time in mind.)

And I will NOT be paying attention as to who the last poster is on the Forum listings. When I get back - that person is the winner. Bing-bang-boom.

OK kids, I'm outta here. Talk amongst yourselves. When I return, we'll have a winner!

(Here’s an example as to how a past “Timing is Everything” contest ran.)

Good luck!
