+thegoldenband
I've always preferred the early Mattel-style boxes that open like a book -- I suspect most of us do! Alas, they eventually ditched that design, and by 1983 they had switched to the boxes that open from the bottom flap, à la INTV Corp, which are much harder to keep intact and in good condition. But some of the 1983 releases were in fact available as book-style boxes, if only briefly. INTV Funhouse says that BurgerTime, Buzz Bombers, and Mission X initially had book-style boxes before moving to the bottom-flap style. There are also Brazilian editions of Bump 'n' Jump and Masters of the Universe: The Power of He-Man, made by Digiplay, which use a book-style box with a trayless pocket. So that leaves AD&D: Tarmin, Kool-Aid Man, Loco-Motion, Motocross, and Pinball. Has anyone ever seen book-style boxes for those, either domestic or international? And, have I missed any other games that have interesting book vs. bottom flap variants? Edited January 28, 2011 by thegoldenband

Rev
Don't forget that all the Sears titles are book style as well.
