ATARI7800fan
I was wondering has crownland been released. If so were and does it come in a cart form. Does atari-sales have any plans on making a cart version of the game if it has been released. Has anyone tried it and if so what did you think of the game. How much ram does it need. Well, 1) yes, the game has been released (it took even part at the Abbuc software contest). 2) a file version for 128k machines can be found e.g. here: http://www.atari.fandal.cz/detail.php?files_id=5650 3) not sure if a cart version (for 64k or 128k machines) already exists... ask Lance or Kjmann if you want it on cart (or use Steve Tucker`s Maxflash 1MB or 8MB cart to do it yourself)... 4) the game is great, it is a good jump & run a la super mario - alas, the released 128k version is a bit short... -Andreas Koch

Are there some good emulators for the Atari 130XE I could run it on.

snicklin
Thanks. Are there some good emulators for the Atari 130XE I could run it on. You have a choice between Altirra or Atari800Win Plus. The first you should find at http://virtualdub.org and you can google the latter.

We Don't have any plans to make a cart version until an NTSC Fix Can be Done. =)

I once tried it out and the sheer amount of flicker made it unplayable.
Mclaneinc
Just adding a different link to Altirra http://www.virtualdub.org/beta/Altirra-1.9-test20.zip The reason being that beta 20 is a release candidate (as was 19) and there's a shed load of changes from 1.8 final. With that being the case beta 20 really is a better choice with 1.9 final being so close. (unless Phaeron has other thoughts )
Zap!
That's not necessarily the issue, the main problem with it on NTSC systems is the flicker. I once tried it out and the sheer amount of flicker made it unplayable. On my 800XL, it starts and the character falls right away, there's nothing for him to stand on. It's impossible to get past the first screen.
