So I was going through my Atari 2600 game collection and I noticed that I had 2 different version of pac-man both atari and sears versions. Now I know they have made the same games, but I was wondering if anyone on here had a list of them? So I could keep track of differnt game variations.
I think this is what you're wanting (It was the 1st result for
this Google search):
Atari/Sears Equivalents
That list includes 3 games that were never release by Atari:
Steeplechase,
Stellar Track and
Submarine Commander.
This thread has a list of only the Sears/Atari equivalents that had different names.

Also, do ppl collect both versions? Or would one copy from either be ok?
Thanks!
There are people who do it both ways. I've always wanted one of each. Back in the day, my brother only wanted one or the other. Other people want one of each label variation (text & picture and other slight differences). So just decide what will make you happy and go for it. There is no real need to have both versions as long as the ROMs are the same.
Here's a thread about games (Atari brand) with the same name, but different ROMs.
