Goochman
Alley Cat was really well done - add to that: MULE Ball Blazer Ultima III/IV had some nice tunes as well Alternate Reality City/Dungeon had some really good tunes!
Sheddy
Yeah, Alley Cat, brilliant! Wonder how they did the cat meow fx... What about Warhawk and IK music though? Tail of Beta Lyrae intro has some nice music too...

Albert
The music in Alternate Reality The City/The Dungeon goes without saying. Not only did those games have cool "intros" with great music, but the games themselves had a wide variety of music while you were playing. Here are some others I was fond of (and I know there were many others!): - Boulder Dash - M.U.L.E. - Rescue on Fractalus - Realm of Impossibility - Tail of Beta Lyrae (the first game I purchased after buying my first 1050!) ..Al
TXG/MNX
In general I must say most Polish releases from 199x have great musix mostly done with the CMC music composer.
Jetboot Jack
Hey guys - what about Plastron - even though I'm biased that was a great tune!! In fact anything by Richard Munns (Black Lamp, Tube Baddies, Zero War) and Oral Cornellius (Thunderfox)... Check out the Shadow of the Beast music (by Oral C) on the games demos on my site too - not bad for 3K of music emulating an Amiga!!! sTeVE
Goochman
Master of the Lamps - that had a great tune it as well - Jam on it!
emkay
Hey guys - what about Plastron - even though I'm biased that was a great tune!! In fact anything by Richard Munns (Black Lamp, Tube Baddies, Zero War) and Oral Cornellius (Thunderfox)... Check out th eShadow of the Beast music (by Oral C) on the games demos on my site too - not back for 3K of music emulating an Amiga!!! sTeVE The Richard Munns Tunes are at higher level on the XL/XE... Back in time, when the Games are aproaching, for me the following songs were the best: -Arex -Ballblazer -Master of the Lamps -Timemachine Belonging to the Oral C Track (?) its not easy to say "this sounds good", when you know, that the POKEY is able to play/synthesize a real sounding flute (Piano, Guitar or else..) without sampling. Phred
Great choices guys. I have to say the following: 1) Ultima 3 (great stuff) 2) Alley Cat (I used to boot it and then just listen to the music) 3) Conan 4) Ballblazer 5) Pogoman (this is my all time favorite, I don't know why but it made me lithargic) Here's to the great games of the past!
