Game Information

In Shark! Shark! you control a fish! Your goal is to earn as many points as possible while staying alive. Swimming in the ocean with you are other fish of various sizes, lobsters, crabs, jellyfish, and a very fast shark. You are able to eat any fish that is smaller in size than you are, and any fish that is larger will eat you!

Skill Setting - Disc (1 player)

That's right, it's a blast from the past... Was reading thru last year's HSC, and after reading last season's Shark! Shark! battle, it changed from the game I had ready and made it time to jump back into the shark infested waters... (Don't worry, that game will be coming soon)

Game concludes on Sunday, August 28th at 9:00am Eastern time... Nibble on!

Played twice, 1st game hit 17,000+ and system flickered on me 2nd game wasn't as good.

Third attempt was okay.  30K, I think I'll have a chance to play tonight and later in the week.

I'll start trying out for the high score on the next game. I'm only good at this game on my console, and right now it is put away because of the flooding our city is going through. I'm no good at it on an emulator. Otherwise, I could easily get over 100,000. I'll try out for the next game and I will win!

Well..... I guess I'm not too bad myself I guess... I said I wasn't going to do it, but I got bored and decided to try, and it turns out that I may have won. I hope I inserted the image correctly... I won by 100 points unless someone can beat this... 100,650

I had a chance to get 3-4 games in today.
I believe this game CHEATS!

When I go down to hit a shark, from time to time ( over 50K ) my fish keeps going down no matter the direction I want to go!
If you "dart" it frees up control, but it seems to happen when you cannot dart or want to go down.

Anyway, 92K last game, 93K this one.  I need to catch a few ZZZZ  but hope to get in a game or two before breakfast...

This game is grueling lol.

It seems like for Shark! Shark!, after you get to 90,000 points, the shark starts drinking cases of 5 Hour Energy. Then when you get to 100,000 points, he switches to Extra Strength 5 Hour Energy. Then it's very hard to stay alive for much longer. I hope I win so that I will get some points and get in to the leaderboard and at least do somewhat good on the highscore club. I have 6 days left to keep my highscore. I hope I can do it.

Just had the game of my life. Still had 51 lives when i hit 100k but they disappeared quick. Still can't kill the shark after 100k but i got 3 of 4 nibbles in a couple times.

Here's my first effort.  I played two games, and this was my second score.  It'll be tough to do much past 90k unless you already have a full-grown fish, and even then it'll be hard.

IntellivisionDude...  Most impressive.  But you are not a jedi yet!

I don't think I can beat that score using arrow keys!  It is hard to angle and 8 is not 16 directions for certain.

But I actually learned how to play this game now.  I only played to 5K points as a kid.

Like TRON, I only played to kill the recognizer.  I was 20 or so when I played a full game.
Then I loved it!  Never got into maze-a-tron though.

Anyway....102K  is okay for me.
