Colecovision Auction Watch

It's not. It's just a console that never went out. Most likely a later model, considering the ADAM controllers being paired with it. Then again, who knows..I didn't see a pic of the bottom serial number either. I highly doubt it's anything special, other than that 'blank Coleco' shipping box.

I'll second that... It's not.

At the end when Coleco was dumping stock to whomever would buy it, they mixed and matched what was left in inventory to make complete systems (beige ADAM hand controllers, ADAM labeled RF box, etc.) and packaged them in generic corrugated shipping boxes. Eventually they even ran out of the two styrofoam trays and just packaged the CV in a smaller corrugated box.

I personally love the ADAM controllers, I've got a pair that Yurkie did for me.. Straightened cords and especially the black ball tops look sweet, plays even better. :)

Although I'd probably be a little upset if I got a CV with those when I was kid, I can relate though. Luckily mine had black controllers when I was a kid. ;)

Always fun when someone lists a fan reproduction...

...as a legitimate release...

...in a half-assed manner.

No instructions? No box? No wonder.

And this is from a seller who has been quibbling with me about the total shipped cost of the Flipper Slipper I have on eBay (US$22). There seems to be a disconnect in his understanding of the real world value of these games and so I have suggested he join AtariAge so that he can get input from the AA community (plus I'm sure phattyboombatty would love to know more about this R9 Super Action Soccer label ! ! ! ! !)

You're not the only one on eBay with whom this person has peppered with pleas to adjust prices for any number of absurd reasons, claiming disbelief that they could possibly cost what is asked, while listing items of his/her own with astronomical numbers attached. I don't believe the disconnect to be anything other than feigned.

Useful to know - thanks.

I don't know the cost for international from Canada to USA. But 9oz. from USA to Canada cost me $15.50 and the is First Class International with Paypal shipping discount. International from USA to Canada has reached a point where a Canadian customer would REALLY have to want something to pay the ridiculous shipping costs.

I wasn't referring to shipping costs.

Id love to pay only 15.50 for a shipment from the US. Its like if I want to buy anything anymore on Ebay I have to beg the seller to send 1st class because they all want to use Priority Post or even worse the dreaded Global Shipping Program and its not uncommon to get a quote of $40 to $100 dollars to send a game from US to me in Canada.
