I don't have Fill 1 or 2, but do have Kwixx. It's even harder than Qix and does have the Sparx with the addition of a timer that can kill you as well.

I got my highest score ever today, thanks largely to my clearing 86% on screen 1.

4Ks try this sort of tactic to boost your score (without losing the man!) : then seal him in the hole using slow draw if you can...

just did this on the emulator on NTSC - the game is seriously quicker on NTSC so kudos to you guys

I looked forward to playing ROM, but no versions so far have ever worked for me in A800win. The game just runs on auto-pilot and destroys cities, but doesn't respond to any controller/keyboard inputs

Just tried that  emulator (I think) 2.2.0 version ? same on my PC... it takes a key to continue & 1-3 to start, but not the space bar -  anyone else using this emulator : [edit: perhaps it was coded by the Russians!]

Qix 99% - that's just plain cruel

fun on suicidal difficulty) if you can get over the tricky first screen
