The OFFICIAL AtariAge SECRET SANTA 2011 Threadtm

Your elfy mission should you choose to accept:
Send one gift to your randomly assigned recipient.
Then get one back from another super secret elf.

#1. Open to any AtariAge member that has joined on or before August 1st 2011.
Anyone who wants to participate should ask me within this thread, to be added to
the list. You will get a PM back within a few days to confirm that you are added.

#2. Everyone who is playing along needs to have their user name
on the list no later than two weeks BEFORE Thanksgiving NOVEMBER 10th 2011.

#3. You will be sending one gift to your randomly assigned recipient, and
getting one from someone else. The value should be around $20 plus or
minus $5. When I PM you for your address, I will ask you five questions to
help your Santa guess a good gift for you. THE GOAL: try to give something
that your recipient will actually WANT based on their responses to the questions.

Note: if the common consensus through public posts here feels that the price
should differ (higher or lower), please feel free to discus within the thread.
This is simply a guideline to add structure. This price worked well last year.

#4. Shortly after you request to be added to this thread, I'll PM you
your address and asking you for five answers (explained more in the PM).
Please reply to that PM quickly. The deadline for doing so will be November 10th.
Sadly, anyone that does not provide the data by then, will have to be left out, this year.

(even though I post these requests, they still seem to be a CHRONIC issue.
Sadly I'll need to ignore the above information and requests since this isn't
a full time occupation but something I'm doing for the enjoymet of our community.)

#5. Gifts should be mailed NO LATER than December 2nd
to ensure that they have three full weeks for delivery.

#6. We want everyone to have fun this year. Participation of any specific individual
may be limited, in the sole discretion of this sites moderators.

#7. Participate only if you are good natured, and wish to
enjoy a lighthearted fun experience with our community.
