zylon Posted September 23, 2011 Author Share Posted September 23, 2011 After some technical difficulties, which kept me up till 4:30am, I can get back to 5200 action. My primary control port was always a loose fit, but started giving me glitchy control on this round with either of my controllers. First, I replaced the port but no such luck. I've actually rolled that mode on the A8 version, but prefer the 5200's regular play mode over the A8. I've got to tinker with my system again some as the glitchy control is back. Best I got last night was 127k on regular game. 5200 controls are the best for me to use when my hands hurt, which is nearly everyday the last 2 weeks with all the rain. I tried a couple of my others and they do the same thing: cursor positioning is real jittery around the edges and low. The backup system doesn't do this. First are those who put a quarter in the machine..and 20+ minutes later they still have a couple of cities left!! Then there are those who crowd around the spectacle, in stunned amazement . I confess to be amongst the latter. Keep duking it out guys, while I sit back and watch in stunned amazement...
