HuckleCat
Back in the day I had a Gravis joystick for my Apple //c. I thought the stick was how shit on wheels. I'm thinking of getting another, provided I can't find mine, but the problem is that they all seemed to be IBM sticks with an adapter cable for the Apple 2. Something like this - Ok, what exactly is this, and if I was to look for one today, what would I be asking for? Is there anywhere I can get one that sells them regularly, or do I just have to hunt Ebay?
Hatta
I have one of those TAC-10s. Unfortunately the cable is just a passive adaptor, it's the switch on the joystick that actually switches between IBM and Apple II mode.
HuckleCat
Ah, ok. Damn. The cable shown is actually one for connecting an Apple 2 to an IBM, I was just hoping to find one for the other way around. I want to be able to get another Gravis one like I used to have, (I think the Mark IV - black with 3 red buttons), but on Ebay all the ones pictured seem to have the 15-pin connectors, despite a few saying they're for the Apple 2. I do remember mine coming with such a cable, but I know the stick itself had no sort of switch on it to differentiate between Apple 2 or IBM. Though if I could find one of these Tac-10 sticks I may get that. I can only find one used on Amazon (where I got this pic) for like 45 bucks. I don't want to spend that much.
