JacobZu7zu7
64,900 Made it to Area 3... Big tips, when the steel gates open at the end of areas 1/2/3, stay at the top right and shoot them as they come out...move around if needed, but it makes thing much easier, if you're next to the open door and not shooting in front of it. Also, if you lose the machine gun, remember to hit fire a lot, and the gun will work like an automatic...

JacobZu7zu7
7800 standard mode solved! 223,800 There's 8 total areas in this version... then it starts over on the next difficulty setting, and it's twice as difficult! Tips: Always move forward and shoot at upper angles, keep moving don't worry about enemies behind you, they are no threat.... unless you are shooting them coming out of the doors or their hideout. -To avoid cheap deaths, don't try to kill every enemy on the screen, unless you're at a door waiting to get to the next area. roadrunner
My favorite 3 versions are the 7800, NES, and C64. Least favorite Intellivision. Somewhere in the middle - 2600, Amiga, and Apple II versions. @Jacob, will you take a score for the arcade version.

For the 2600 version it's best to fire your shot on an angle. Aim your shot upper left or upper right on the controller. It's safer to fire this way and the shot seems to go a bit further too. Jifremok
50,200 I played this once and forgot to post the score! Maybe I'll try again, since I enjoyed this a lot more than the 2600 version I used to have. Edited November 23, 2011 by Jifremok
roadrunner
Apple II version 38,800 For some reason i can't get print screen to work when i use the applewin emulator. I had to be quick to take a pic of the final score. Printscreen does work on the applewin emulator, the screenshots were saving to the folders with my Apple II roms. I was looking for it in MS paint and there was nothing there. I didn't even think to look in the folders with my Apple II roms. This is a screenshot of my 28,000 score
