bradhig
I have been playing Kool Aid Man on Intellivision lately. It's a lot better then the Atari 2600 version. I saw a version of the manual online that says the game has 13 levels. Has anyone beaten all of them and does it end after level 13 or just repeat that level? Anyone notice how strange it is when you press button 1 on the controller it starts you at level 3 and button 3 starts you at the lowest level. Why would they program it like that? vprette
I did never play this... is it funny?
bradhig1
Got up to level 8. Rotten thirsties are like homing missiles if you get too close and dodging them on higher levels is a pain.
mr_me
Don't forget that starting by pressing the disc plays at the fastest speed for most of the old Mattel games. The four speeds are built into the Intellivision console software (keypad 3 is the slowest). Many Mattel games use these built in speeds but some don't. A game like Advanced Dungeons & Dragons always plays at the fastest speeds but offers four skill levels instead. When a game is played at a slower speed the game is not necessarily easier, the intellivision just runs on a slower clock. Check with each games instructions, but generally run games at the fastest speed by pressing the disc. I've never played Kool-Aid man either. mr_me
You're right about the 3-2-1-disc being a little backwards but after 35 years I'm use to it. Some games go 3-2-1-4-5 and Space Battle v2 goes 3-2-1-disc-4. . Edited July 26, 2017 by mr_me
