Thought I'd set a challenge so tried Arcade Pac-Man starting from the 1st Key board my score was

79580

I was surprised to see it cycle back through the fruit after the second key board. Think it did one board (the 3rd board) of tomatoes (or whatever those red things are!) and then two boards each of the subsequent fruits until it got back to the keys and then back to tomoatoes again on about the 12th board.

Having not played the arcade version much I wasn't expecting that as the Atari A8 version doesn't do that. When you reach the key boards all boards after that are also key boards on our version

Well here's me going to report my 128,420 for missile command and you rack up 199K :thumbsup: might have beaten (my?) HSC record... will check once I can post HTML again!!!

Yes - I had a few days gap before re-subscribing to aage - looks like HTML post authority is automatically revoked and this applies retrospectively which is poor from a legacy standpoint... I'm waiting for Albert to fix this ;)

Took up McKong's Pac-man Arcade Key challenge: 36,880 - looks like it's random fruit which is better as on the old ver on some Key screens you couldn't get the ghosts as they blipped and turned around so I saved the pills for grabbing the keys at 5K a shot!

LOL here's me thinking the blue things were cherries... still not sure if you are kidding me!!

Captain Beeble - 8,900 level 3 takes a couple of goes to master - keep the slow speed scrolling goin then and push up.down in long pushes to keep away from the edges.

Jr Pac 62,530 nearly beat the 'train' (or is that grapefruit) level?!

p.s. Just finished play testing CRT XL's final release candidate version of The Mighty Jill Off - pretty darn awesome game... coming soon Atari folks :)

Played Captain Beeble - still very rusty but a creditable 11,000
Then had a p.b. on Missile Command, 179,865 beat the old Shannon HSC record 168,625 but not the new McKong 199K record ;-)
Finally Oileys Follenoffiesplatforms 9,160 got to the "FC" screen think I can beat this game... best approach is to go flat out, it's more fun and less sliding off when you play positively ;-)

Got a bit futher on Captain Beeble: 20,500 floating around saves fuel = more bonus!!!

Spent a good hour on Missile Command awesome game but ALAS...
I'm blaming the joysticks - need to service them tomorrow - ones not always firing and the other's firing doubles and using me precious ammo :twisted:
