57,460!

Edit: Crap...just realized that I missed the score in the snapshot. that's ok, though. I fully intend on improving once I dig out my system. :)

I won't be approaching Oyama's 1 million, so I'll keep pushing until I feel safe for this round.

I hardly ever played H.E.R.O. before, so I'm having a lot of fun with this one.

Pro-tip: To practice the higher levels, select the other game variations.

Top notch game... wish I was better at it.

I really like this game, but, I really, really, like truly, hate the propellar controls. I understand it's part of the challenge of it all, but it makes it too easy to make a little slip and if the timing on it were better stuff like that one damn snake in level 9 or 10 (forget which one, he's in a narrow corridor and you have to time your drop to pass him) make it annoying. Wish there was a way to control your hover better.

Agree. Curious how this game would play with Joust physics.

TIP: Study H.E.R.O. maps to be motivated!!
At this page (link above), there is a video which shows how to play Level 20 and Completion Screenshot (which shows the maximum score of 1,000,000 = ! ! ! ! ! ! )

How do we work multiple non-participants?

My two-cents would be that (non-participant) = (score of 0). Therefore, as of right now, there would be many people in last place with a score of zero. It might be good to update the list with this assumption. Vocelli, eventhough he has the current lowest score submitted, is not the lowest score in danger of elimination.

Also, along these lines, if multiple players each tie for last place (whether it is due to no submission or otherwise) then we would have to discuss how to handle it. All of the last place finishers could be eliminated, but then this may mess up the weeks/game selections. Or, we could do a random lottery to pick one to eliminate. Other thoughts?

My thought is to drop all non-participants - no lottery or tie-breaker. The games selected by non-participants would be eliminated as well... unless we already played that game, of course.
