I have purchased a Vectrex from him last year and he is an excellent guy, met him in person. Absolutely no problem buying from him again. Btw, the Vectrex is running great, play it often. Thanks for the deal Coleconut!

nice to meet you too, enjoyed the conversation. I went over to that music store you suggested and dropped a bundle on some vintage CD's. Some of the prices were whack but I got a deal or two.
Mentioning whack prices, the two vintage video game stores in Windsor have some nice stuff but the prices....sheesh. $190 for a barebones Colecovision???? And they have R2 Atari 2600 games locked up in the "collectors only" cabinet. Whats with that?

Game Cycle and Game Cycle 2..... HUGELY overpriced! He has no competition so he charges exorbitant prices, I've done lots of looking and very little buying. Windsor and Southern Ontario in general is horrible for classic gaming. I can get better stuff on the internet and get it shipped to Canada than buy it there.

Dr. Disc is one of the few CD/Record Stores around in our area. In Windsor , its them or HMV in the mall.. Dr. Disc has more than HMV for selection.
I miss the days of Sam The Record Man and Music World!

There's a Bumper Bash in Game Cycle 2 for $80 with a piss poor label. $140 for a Filthy looking CV? The only time I buy anything retro there is if the price is lower than going online (including shipping) which isn't very often or if I have a lot of store credit and don't know what to do with it. I always joke with the one girl who works there that nothing has moved in the "Atari Museum".

Another example, I had a "Hit and Missile" game in the box that I couldn't sell locally so I got like $10 in store credit. I think they're asking like $50 for the thing.

The best local deals are still the "Barn" between Harrow and Kingsville and even then, the pickings are getting slim.

The blonde girl in Game Cycle 2 is cute ... a good reason to go browse LOL

Christ on a crutch @ that CV price. Oh, And her name is Melanie. I sold her some Atari 2600 and 8-bit games a year or so ago before she started working there. She's a cool collector. Tell her Jeremy said hi :)
