Any former Antic or Analog Magazine employees here?

Hi.

I used to remember getting both Antic and Analog magazines back when I used to own an Atari 800XL. I always wanted to work for one of them but by the time that I finished college and started working in the "real" world, Atari was slowing shifting to the ST line. I always wondered what it would have been like to have worked at either of these two companies.

Does anyone have any stories of what it was like to work at these two companies?

Don't know what it was like to work for them, but the original ANALOG magazine was produced at the current Master Hobbies shop in Leicester, MA, right outside of Worcester. My uncle knows Charles Banchand (Race in Space) and knew Tom Hudson back when he made Degas Elite for the ST.

I didn't work at ANALOG Computing, but I did write for them (a handful of articles for ANALOG (http://molyneaux.tripod.com/mm-publ.htm#analog), and a mess for ST-Log). Is also did a graphic that appeared on the cover of the December 1989 ANALOG (http://molyneaux.tripod.com/mm-art-d.htm#covers).

I knew Charlie Bachand, Lee Pappas, Clayton Walnum, Diane Gaw, etc. I'm still in contact with some of them. Clayton has a website. I'm sure you could drop him an email from it with your questions.

I just looked at that issue again this morning ;)
