I voted 'maybe'.  Of course any release is a good thing, but I'd rather see something new.

I voted "yes".  Space Patrol and SG&R are being re-released, and I have Stonix, so this and 4-Tris are the main "old homebrews" that are currently out of my reach.  And I think the ROM for 4-Tris is around, but I don't think Minehunter's ROM is, though I do have a beta.

Far better that new copies get made, rather than paying a massive markup on Ebay -- especially if the original programmer is willing and, in return, would get a few bucks.

Just to correct my earlier post, the Minehunter ROM is absolutely available, and can be downloaded from a few places including the author's website.  In fact, he's even made the source code available.

It's great, BTW!  Of course it's "just" Minesweeper if you want to look at it that way, but it's a very well-implemented version, and the sound/visual effects are great.

Would rather purchase and play that homebrew Moon Patrol I missed out on.  :(

Joe Z. has confirmed that a re-release is planned, though it's probably a little ways off yet.  I definitely look forward to that, since the teaser version is terrific!

Hello to all

I have an update version of the Minhunter game from original developer that is the final code, not available anywhere else :-)
this version has been completed AFTER the publication of the intelligentvision version.
I'm working on the box art and will make some decision about publishing it during this Year, it depends on you.... If there is demand for it, and if people is available to make pre-order via ebay in case....

Seriously?!!! That's awesome news. Are you talking about a re-release of the original or a new Super Space Patrol? Maybe I need to go to Vegas..... :)

Aww Man.

Is there going to be any chance that those of us not in North America will be able to get a copy of a new Space Patrol release (or Minehunter either)?

Any info on what the differences are between this version and the Intelligentvision release?

If it's different, I'll be down for a full copy.  Same with Space Patrol.

While I've never enjoyed this game on any system I do wish you luck and would of course help out with a radio commercial.
