For me, it's Anime and video game soundtracks, Eurobeat, Devo, Weird Al, and some random rock albums.

Do any of you listen to music while programming, and what songs do you listen to?

If using a BASIC style language counts as programming, I listen to nothing. I can't have any distractions.

I listen to a lot of 90's and 80's crap. Soundgarden, Garbage, Porno for Pyros, The Doves, Oasis, Veruca Salt..etc

I don't program as much as I used to but when I did my music rotation consisted of Devo, James Brown, Smashing Pumpkins, Porno For Pyros, Rage Against the Machine, Pink Floyd, and a few others I can't remember.

I listen to SID's; I have several favourite lists comprised of the ones that get just the right alpha waves going

I like Galager, Hubbard, Jeron Tel and many of the other gread composers. Draxish... fantastic, who wrote that?

I'd really like to pick up a SID player with a real 6581 if anyone knows of one; the chip has analouge filters that can't be emulated.
