Yautja
Hi there, I´m looking for the equivalent of the "inverse video" key in any of the Atari 8-bit computer emulators. Hope you can give me a hand with this. - Y - Edited February 16, 2012 by Yautja
Ransom
In the Atari800 emulator it's the END key that triggers inverse video, IIRC.
Yautja
I just gave it a try... and didn´t work. Any idea?
Kr0tki
"End" in Atari800 is for Help key. Try any of the Windows keys. BTW, what emulator do you specifically have in mind?
Ransom
Hrm. Must be only Atari800MacOSX that uses the End key for inverse video.
Yautja
Hello Kr0tki, I´ve already tried to locate this specific key in the self test mode in Altirra, Atari800Win Plus and Atari800. No results up to date.
Kr0tki
Ah, so you're on Windows. "Left Windows" key won't work in Atari800 on Windows. Use the "`" (backquote/tilde) key instead. As for the others, read the documentation.
+bf2k+
'END' key works here in Atari800Win 2.5 and 3.1 I almost never use 4.x
Yautja
Hello bf2k+ I´ve just confirmed it´s also the same key for Atari800Win PLus 4.0 Anyone else knows the right key for Altirra and Atari800? - Y -

phaeron
It's also End in Altirra.
phaeron
This would be helpful if it were actually correct. I forgot to update the help after I reorganized the keys.
Yautja
Well, confirmed: it´s the END key in both emulators.(Altirra and Atari800Win PLus). But in Atari800, the "inverse video" is the one located to the left of the number one (" the tilde key"). - Y -

Now can anyone tell me what the keystroke is for the chr$(125) clear screen? I used to always hit it and then type RUN to test code from a blank screen but now I can't find it
Ray Gillman
Wait just tried it and looks like CTRL-HOME (Home key on the control keys not on the number pad)
