There there is also 5 Sega games from different years. Since this is a tournament, the new tournament scoring system will be in effect. Refer to the HSC rules regarding the new point system. Competition begins Sunday, April 8th @ noon EST and ends Sunday, April 22 @ noon EDT The field has been set and the scoring has begun! I guess that shows I spend most of my time playing older stuff. Still, every time I do this I'm reminded of how many great games are out there that I have never heard of. Lots of the games I tried out are really cool. Question--I see we are starting to get a list of suggestions going but how are the 10 games actually going to be selected for the tourney? The games that are suggested the most get chosen. If there is room left in a certain year or the manufacturer I will go to the BIG request thread for tie breakers. From there I guess it's a poll thread a week before the tournament starts to help with tie breakers. If all else fails, there's always "random number generator" to help choose. Did that make since As it stands right now, only 3 roms (Elevator Action Returns, Outfoxies, R-Type Leo) have more than one vote and 4 different manufacturer have been chosen. I have a few different MAME versions on my PC, in MAME 129 it's buggy as hell in video and sound, in MAME 144 it plays fine all round.
