Hi there!

A question: Is the first Pang a Capcom game or not?

Greetings,
Manuel

Oh if it was that easy a question, I wouldn't need to ask it here ;)

I think Wikipedia is either to vague or wrong on the topic, that's why I'm asking.

Pang Arcade e.g. has a Mitchel copyright:
http://www.arcade-mu...hp?game_id=8971

And Buster Bros. has a Capcom USA copyright:
http://www.arcade-mu...hp?game_id=7249

So I think Capcom only published the Arcade in the USA

To make my confusion perfect, there's packshots on Mobygames from the Game Boy version, which is clearly copyrighted by Hudson. On Mobygames Capcom is only mentioned in "ported by" for the PC-Engine version.

Busters Bros. was a fun game.  I encountered it at a roller rink somewhere in rural North Carolina back in the early 1990s.

I just wondered where all those bubbles/balloons were coming from.  Was some evil entity inflating those from off screen?

I´ve been trying all Pang games on MAME and in the first two games (Pang, Super Pang) only Mitchell is named and they´re PCBs. Pang! 3 is a CPS game and Mighty Pang! is a CPS2 game.

I looked for Mitchell in the Wikipedia and says they developed the Pang series which were distributed by Capcom in the US so you´re right Cybergoth:
