Anyone who is a JRPG fan: This is many many many hours of very good dungeon crawling for 10 measly bucks, if your into this sort of thing. The original still goes for 20-40 bucks.

 

I played this and the 4th game in the series. Good stuff.

The first 2 Persona games were different then this one to say the least, and I still dont know what the FES is all about. I own Persona 3 and put many an hour into it, fun dungeon crawler

Snagged FES about a year back for fifteen dollars, and eventually caved and paid thirty for a brand new copy of P4.

JRPGs are a market oddity. Around here, even when it comes to the ones that aren't very good, they stay uniformly fixed at price points in the 30-50 dollar range, because - barring stuff like Final Fantasy - they generally have fairly limited runs, but nonetheless tend to stay in print far longer than other games, and can often be found new on the shelves of smaller brick-and-mortar game stores years after their initial release.

FES was an updated version of Persona 3. It added a few things, like a special edition.

 

As I already own both FES and 4 for my PS2, I'm also going to have to pass on this.

You can probably find a copy for about $10-$15 near mint in a mom and pop shop.

Yes, it added another story and gave some closure to the original story. That 2nd story was hard as heck though.

Maybe. If you were happy with the ending of the first game, then maybe not. Then again, it is only $10. If you own a PS2, I'd go they disc route if you can find it on the cheap.
