Who was responsible for the case design of the Atari ST/XE systems?

Thanks for those links! I see why I missed 'em... I was off AtariAge when you did that backlight hack.

I'm beginning to miss my STacy :(

The 1000 was originaly designed to be a stackable modular system. There’s another thread here somewhere that shows that original design intent. Modular systems never quite seemed to catch on, but the Mega ST is probably one of the best looking executions of this design.



The Mac Mini is stackable.

Aha! Another idea stolen from Atari by Apple. :P



At this point, I'd much rather Apple be the thief of Atari/Amiga intellectual property than Microsoft. At least Apple is essentially descended from Atari.
